Introduction to testing

Halogen testing is mainly applied to the content of flame retardants added in the production process of electronic and electrical products, plastic accessories, PCB boards, film polymers, resins, inks, etc., by measuring the halogen content of the flame retardant. Determine whether it meets the requirements of EU IEC61249-2-21: 2003.

Test standard

EN 14582:2007; JY/T020:1996.

Standard limit

 Chlorine (Cl)≤900ppm,

Bromo(Br) ≤900ppm,,

Chlorine (Cl) + Bromine (Br) ≤1500ppm.

Test Ability

Fluorine (F), chlorine (Cl), bromine (Br), iodine (I), method detection limit (MDL): 50ppm

Test requirements

Customers need to provide solid (including powder) samples of more than 5 g or liquid samples of more than 10 mL. For viscous samples, it is necessary to confirm whether the drying test is required. For non-single material samples, customers need to confirm whether they are mixed. Test or specify the test site.
