1) Products applicable to lithium battery CQC certification: portable office products, mobile communication products, portable audio and video products, other portable products, smart wearable devices, etc.;

2) According to the standard:

   GB31241-2014 Safety requirements for lithium batteries and battery packs for portable electronic products;

   GB/T 28164-2011 Safety requirements for portable sealed batteries and battery packs containing alkaline or other non-acid electrolytes (IEC 62133: 2002);

   IEC 62133: 2012.

3) Lithium battery certification category:

Cells: GB31241, GB/T28164, IEC62133-2012;

Battery pack: GB31241, GB/T28164, IEC62133-2012;

Power bank: GB31241+GB8898/GB4343.

4) Authentication mode (three optional)

Mode 1: Only type test (no factory audit, the certificate is valid for one year, and the certification mark cannot be used);

Mode 2: Type test + initial factory inspection + post-certification supervision (the certificate is valid for a long time, and the certificate is issued after the factory inspection);

Mode three, type test + supervision after certification (the certificate is valid for a long time, the certificate is issued first and the factory is audited).

5) Principles of unit division:

Batteries and battery packs should be divided into different certification units; the same manufacturer, production plant or production plant site can be used as a certification unit.

Cell: The key raw materials, protective devices, assembly methods and shapes are the same, and can be used as the same certification unit within the capacity range.

A. Cylindrical batteries (battery capacity>2400mAh, battery capacity<2400mAh);

B. Square and others (battery capacity<1500mAh, 1500mAh<battery capacity<3000mAh, 3000mAh<battery capacity<5000mAh, battery capacity>5000mAh).

The same protection circuit, series-parallel mode, and built-in external type can be divided into the same unit.

Principle and quantity of samples

The principle of sending samples: within the same certification unit, the maximum capacity of the series models is reduced by 20% as an interval, and the maximum capacity product models in each interval are sent for all test items.

27 samples for batteries and 33 samples for battery packs. Example: N battery models with a capacity of 1500-2500mAh, and the samples sent are 2500, 2000, and 1600.

6) Certification fee

The application fee is 600, the certificate fee is 1000, the factory inspection fee is 3000 people/day, and the test fee: the test fee is charged according to the division of the unit and the actual test item.

7) Factory inspection and post-certification supervision

Factory inspection content:

1. Responsibilities and resources;

2. Documents and records;

3. Purchase and purchase inspection;

4. Production process control and process inspection;

5. Routine inspection and confirmation inspection;

6. Inspection and testing equipment;

7. Control of unqualified products;

8. Internal quality audit;

9. Consistency of certified products;

10. Packaging, handling and storage.

Use of certification mark:

The result of certification mode 1 is only responsible for the sample, and the CQC product certification mark shall not be used.

Enterprises that have obtained certificates in certification modes 2 and 3 are allowed to use the CQC mark;

If the certified product needs to use the certification mark of 10mm and smaller, the deformed mark is allowed;

The certification mark can be added to the obvious position of the product body, the nameplate or manual, and the packaging.
